Background Care and Feeding

If you prefer a smoother look for your backgrounds, avoid folding when you transport: we must ship our backdrops folded and recommend steaming or ironing to achieve a more seamless look, but once this is done, try stuffing or crushing your muslin into a bag or area for transport; it will be less creased the next time you set up or will look more "naturally" creased.

If you have ironed your background you may want to roll it to transport or store for longer usage between touch ups, and as with all backgrounds, shake them out of any bag that you are using for transport and try to let them breathe when not in use. If you store your backgrounds or muslins in a closed container, they may end up smelling musty, or worse.
